Wednesday was our home opener against Bonham. The Lady Panthers came out excited to play on a bit warmer evening. Lady Panthers came out on top with goals scored by Tina Solano, Ava Garvin (C), Sydney Alcala (C), Kylie Campbell (C) and a hat trick by Freshman newcomer Alyssa Allen. The back line played some great defense and goalies Paxton Szymanski and Faith Dedmond shared in the shutout.
Next up was the Lady Farmers of Farmersville. On a cold and windy Saturday morning, the Lady Panthers were there to play. Down a couple of key players, they fought hard against a physical Farmersville squad. The Lady Panthers came out on top beating the Lady Farmers 5 - 1. Farmersville lone goal, was scored on a questionable PK call. Lady Panther goals scored by Kara Congrove, Ella Anderson, Ava Garvin and Alyssa Allen (2).
Up next is Teacher Appreciation night at home against Gainesville.
